4:00 – 5:00 Presentation: Threat Detection and Incident Response
Paul Kubler and Dusan Petricko, LIFARS
Abstract
It’s a not a question of whether a data breach will occur at an organization, but rather when it will happen and how well-prepared the organization is to respond. An effective and quick response, containment, and remediation is imperative to limiting losses, be it money, reputation or information at risk.

Whether you are a large or small company building an effective Incident Response (IR) may seem daunting in the wake of the ever increasing sophistication of threats. In this webinar we will cover the best practices of an effective Incident Response for cybersecurity including:

• Technology to best detect threats
• How to take quick and effective remedial action
• The latest shift in cybersecurity to outsource IR capabilities to a third party

You will gain a better understanding of how to accomplish the mission of protecting your organization, ensuring business continuity, and saving costs by minimizing the damage.

5:00 – 5:15 Break
5:15 – 6:00
Presentation: They will get in. The Modern Cyber Threat Pandemic.
Sara Czarecki, Regional Sales Manager, LogRhythm

Abstract
Advanced targeted attacks make prevention-centric strategies obsolete. Securing enterprises require a shift to information and people-centric security strategies, combined with pervasive internal monitoring and sharing of security intelligence. Advanced perimeter defense will only get you so far. To successfully defend you must look for the anomalies that occur across the holistic attack surface once your infrastructure is compromised.
