4:00 – 5:00 Presentation: How Billion Dollar Enterprises Manage Application Security at Scale

Abstract
Security Compass recently completed a comprehensive research study by surveying companies across multiple industries with the goal of discovering how large, complex organizations address application security at scale. The majority of respondents surveyed were multinational organizations who reported annual earnings greater than $1 billion USD. Through this new research study, we have gleamed novel insights on how large organizations manage application security at scale. Through this presentation, we will reveal aggregated insights, industry trends, and best practices that illuminate how organizations are addressing application security at scale, so that you may apply and compare these learnings to the state of application security at your own organization.

5:00 – 5:15 Break
5:15 – 6:00 Presentation: Next Generation Security Awareness - Looking Beyond the Click
Andrew Sweet, Enterprise Account Executive, Phishline

Abstract
More and more security awareness professionals are feeling trapped by management who believe the only metric that matters is the infamous “click-through rate” for mock phishing campaigns. On the surface, the idea is simple. To validate the effectiveness of our training and to measure real-world user behavior, we will send mock phishing emails to our employees. Then, we measure the % of users who clicked on the suspicious-looking link in the email. Ultimately, if our security awareness program is effective, the click-through-rate should go down over time. Case closed, game over? Not quite. This will be an interactive discussion with live demonstrations
