"A FRAMEWORK FOR ADDRESSING SECURITY
AND MANAGING BUSINESS RISK"

ABSTRACT*: This presentation will present a view of the Information Security Progam at Prudential Financial. The program uses a risk based approach for addressing the security vulnerabilities and threats in the business environment. This program has proven very effective in responding to regulatory changes as well as enabling the business. Key aspects of the program will be discussed along with a linkage to key stake holders.

THE KEYNOTE ADDRESS WILL BE FOLLOWED BY BOTH EXHIBIT VIEWING AND THREE ONE HOUR PRESENTATIONS ON STATE OF THE ART INFORMATION SECURITY TOPICS. Pat Pryor CISSP, Regional Sales Manager, NJ, of Vericept, and Clifford R. Michel of the New York Office of Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw LLP will be among the presenters. Their Topics and the details of the third presentation will be announced shortly.

By Car: From Holland Tunnel: At the first light out of the Tunnel (Marin Blvd.), make a right. At the next light, make a right onto 18th Street. 18th Street will turn into Washington Boulevard (South). The JPMorganChase buildings are at the corner of Washington Blvd. and Newport Pkwy. Drive one more block past the JPMorganChase Building and make a right at North Garage Driveway. Enter the parking garage.

From Lincoln Tunnel: Upon exiting the Tunnel, immediately get into the far right lane. Follow the Hoboken exit sign and ramp. At the first light, the street becomes Willow Avenue. Continue straight through the light. Proceed on Willow Avenue for approximately 1.5 miles. Continue to the end. Turn right onto Observer Highway. At the first light, Henderson Avenue, turn left. Stay on Henderson Avenue, under rail tracks, at first light, 18th Street, turn left. Continue on 18th Street which turns into Washington Boulevard (South). Drive one more block past the JPMorganChase Building and make a right at North Garage Driveway. Enter the parking garage.

By Train: Take the PATH (33rd St/23rd ST/14th ST/9th ST) to Journal Square; get off on Newport/Pavonia Station. Go up escalator and exit the Station to your left. In courtyard with the Marriott Hotel on your right, you will be facing Washington Boulevard; The JPMorganChase Building is across Washington Boulevard to your right. From the World Trade Center site, Take the PATH train to Hoboken two stops to Newport/Pavonia Station Go up escalator and exit the Station to your left. In courtyard with the Marriott Hotel on your right, you will be facing Washington Boulevard; The JPMorganChase Building is across Washington Boulevard to your right.

By Bus: From Port Authority, take New Jersey Transit Bus # 126/68/86 to Newport Center Mall, Jersey City, NJ. Take the pedestrian bridge to Newport Tower. The JPMorgan Chase Building is next to the Newport Tower.

By Ferry: The NY Waterway at West 38th Street at 12th Avenue has ferries departing every 40 minutes to Newport Center during rush hour. The downtown NY Waterway has ferries throughout the day to Harborside departing every 10 minutes. The JPMorgan Chase Building is across Washington Boulevard.

Shuttle Buses to Ferry from Midtown NYC: Free Ferry Shuttle buses run on 34th/42nd/49th/57th Streets (from Lexington Avenue to 12th Avenue) to take passengers to the NY Waterway dock. The Shuttle buses run every 15 minutes. You must wave to the Shuttle Driver at a city bus stop (as if you were hailing a taxi) to indicate that you wish to board the shuttle.

By Car: From New Jersey Turnpike: Take the NJ Turnpike to exit 14C, the Holland Tunnel. After the toll, continue toward the Holland Tunnel. Keep right on exit ramp. At the bottom of the ramp, turn right onto Jersey Avenue then immediately bear left and enter the Newport Center Mall ramp. Remain on the left lane until ramp becomes Newport Pkwy. Make a right at Washington Blvd. Drive one block past the JPMorganChase Building and make a right at North Garage Driveway. Enter the parking garage.

From Garden State Parkway North: Exit at Route 22 Eastbound Exit 140. Stay on Route 22 East until Route 1&9 North onto the Pulaski Skyway. Keep right on exit ramp. At the bottom of the ramp, turn right onto Jersey Avenue then immediately bear left and enter the Newport Center Mall ramp. Remain on the left lane until ramp becomes Newport Pkwy. Make a right at Washington Blvd. Drive one block past the JPMorganChase Building and make a right at North Garage Driveway. Enter the parking garage.

From Garden State Parkway South: Exit at Parkway at Exit 145 onto Route 280 East. Stay on Route 280 until it ends. Then take Route 508 towards Jersey City. Route 508 joins Route 7, then after crossing bridge at the first traffic circle follow Route 1 & 9 North to Holland Tunnel. At the bottom of the ramp, turn right onto Jersey Avenue then immediately bear to your left and enter the Newport Center Mall ramp. Remain on the left lane until ramp becomes Newport Pkwy. Make a right at Washington Blvd. Drive one block past the JPMorganChase Building and make a right at North Garage Driveway. Enter the parking garage.

From Route 3 (Eastbound): Follow Route 3 towards Lincoln Tunnel/NYC. Stay in the far right lane. Exit at the Weehawken/Hoboken Exit ramp. At the first light, the street becomes Willow Avenue. Continue straight through the light. Proceed on Willow Avenue for approximately 1.5 miles. Continue to the end. Turn right onto Observer Highway. At the first light, Henderson Avenue, turn left. By Train: NJ Transit trains to Newark or Hoboken. Transfer to PATH. Take PATH train from Newark to Journal Square. Transfer to PATH train going toward 33rd street, and get off at Pavonia/Newport Station. Go up escalator and exit the Station. In Courtyard (To your right there is a Marriott Hotel) you will be facing Washington Boulevard; The JPMorgan Chase Building is across Washington Boulevard to your right. From Hoboken, take Path train going towards World Trade Center Station, and get off at Pavonia/Newport Station. Go up escalator and exit the Station. In Courtyard (To your right there is a Marriott Hotel) you will be facing Washington Boulevard; The JPMorgan Chase Building is across Washington Boulevard to your right.

Make a right at Washington Blvd. Drive one block to North Garage Driveway. Make a right and enter the parking garage.
